My Humidor just arrived with fresh cigars in it and im siked!! Compared to my other humidor it is twice the size. Once it is broke in more updates will come so stay tuned.

Humidor Update!

UPDATE!!!
Almost two months later, I have a couple cigars in the Humidor and still love it. A few pluses and minuses though:
Pluses
 - Inexpensive
 - Constructed well
 - Detailed instructions on how to break in
 - great for part time tobacconist

Minuses
 - Must break i a couple times
 - The Hygrometer wont hold past 65%
 - No window to see cigar options
 - Open and closing loses humidity

Again, good for first time humidor or part time cigar smoker!

Prep your Humidifier

NEVER put water on Humidifier while still inside Humidor
REMOVE Humidifier
I used Distilled water instead of a Humidor solution
NEVER use Tap Water
SKEET Distilled water into humidifier through grate
NEVER over fill. Make it wet, not soaking!
WIPE excess off with cloth
ATTACH Humidifier onto Humidor

Hygrometer Placement

Hygrometer placement is at your discretion in humidor. It needs air flow around it for an accurate reading. Mount on lid or in tray.

Calibrating your Hygrometer

Items needed: Teaspoon, table salt, small bowl, big zip lock bag, water, Hygrometer
Takes: Approximately 6.5 hours

1. Place a teaspoon of table salt in a shallow dish and add enough water to make damp.
(a couple drops)

2. Next place the dish in a zip lock plastic bag and place the hygrometer next to the dish. Dont spill salt water on Hygrometer!

3. Seal the plastic bag with air inside the bag. Allow it to sit for at least 6 hours.

4. Check the humidity level and it should read around 75%. If not, note deviation and adjust screw on back to 75%. If no adjustment screw on back use the number on hygrometer as correct humidity level.
